This Is Me

Like you, my life has been many things, requiring me to respond to and navigate all the offerings of my lived experiences. It has not been a straight path and my constant goal is to make it my own, to develop life skills, ways of thinking and being that resonate with my truths and who I aspire to be.

My path led me to a social work career where a passion for providing professional support, advocacy and guidance led me to cultivating a safe space for others to develop awareness, realize their strengths and discover their own wisdom and clarity. I served as a case manager in health care until my career took me to a community agency where I provided ongoing support, resources and counselling to adults, families and caregivers.

My professional offerings include narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy with a strong focus on mindfulness practice. These are evidence-based practices I offer along with a trauma-informed perspective, a heartfelt commitment to acknowledge your truths, strengths, challenges and barriers, to provide guidance and relevant tools for your unique situation.

Is This You?

It is a brave and vulnerable act to reach out for therapy and to explore your lived experiences. Our minds sort and use the most impactful of these experiences and manifest themselves in all aspects of our lives.

Thought patterns find roots and grow, many of which are nourishing and serve us well, where others have taken hold in ways that bind us in patterns of thinking and living which create suffering.

It is my honour to provide a safe space for you to express and explore. Together we can revisit, reframe, and recreate how you occupy the space your mind, heart and body live in. Your willingness and energies can create healthy, mindful and intentional ways of Being so that you Become the author in your present experiences.
